''Gnorimoschema grindeliae'' is a moth in the Gelechiidae family. It was described by Powell and Povolný in 2001. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from California.〔(funet.fi )〕〔(mothphotographersgroup )〕 The length of the forewings is 8-10.5 mm for males and 9-11.2 mm for females. The ground colour of the forewings varies from deep chocolate-rust to bright rust-brown and from patternless to a moderately well-developed pattern of cream-whitish scaling forming indications of two narrow, transverse bands subapically and subbasally. There are concentrations of blackish scales near the base on the dorsal margin and at the apex. The hindwings are dark grey, slightly shining. Adults are on wing from late June to mid-September in one generation per year. The larvae feed on ''Grindelia hirsutula'' from within soft stem galls.〔(Holarctic Lepidoptera 8 (Suppl. 1): (1-53) )〕 ==References==
